BURKESVILLE – Lydia Ada Wells Norris, 91, of Jamestown, formerly of Burkesville, died Sept. 24, 2006, at the Russell County Hospital in Russell Springs.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation is after noon today at the funeral home in Burkesville.

Survivors include five sons; Donald Norris and his wife, Pearline, of Bringhurst, Ind., Tim Norris and his wife, Christine, of Jamestown, Denny Norris and his wife, Patsy, of Jamestown, Floyd Norris of Jamestown and Lloyd Norris of Sanders; five daughters, Evelyn Scott of Glasgow, Edith Wisdom and her husband, Clarence, of Woodburn, Sue Waid and her husband, Dennis, of Franklin, Brenda Waid and her husband, John, of Franklin, Judy Jarman and her husband, Bobby, of Franklin; a brother, Randy Perdue and his wife, Janice, of Burkesville; a sister, Nannie Wells of Jamestown; 52 grandchildren; 83 great-grandchildren; and 32 great-great grandchildren.
