Lil’ Angels Attic sale set for Friday, Saturday at Church

Lil’ Angels Attic, a biannual children’s consignment sale that raises funds for local children and family charities, is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Broadway United Methodist Church in the Ministry Activities Center.
The sale allows sellers to consign children’s clothes, toys, games, strollers, furniture and maternity clothing.
Volunteers are needed to work three-hour shifts.
Sellers get 70 percent of the asking price. The other 30 percent collected by Lil’ Angels Attic is given to charities in the Bowling Green area. Receiving funds from the fall ’06 sale will be the Family Enrichment Center, New Beginnings Therapeutic Riding, Girls Inc., Court Appointed Special Advocates, Pregnancy Support Center, Mary Kendall Adoption Program, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Upward Basketball, Broadway’s Early Learning Center and Kid’s Zone.
Entry is free from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. Select merchandise remaining for Saturday’s sale is sold at half price.
Lil’ Angels Attic began in March 2002 and is a part of Broadway UMC Community Outreach Ministry at 1323 Melrose Ave. It takes place in March and September.
