Maupin infant

PADUCAH – Joshua Andrew Maupin, infant son of David T. Maupin Jr. and Jennifer Langston Maupin of Bowling Green, formerly of Paducah, went peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Aug. 15, 2006, at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville.

He was born July 27, 2006.

Funeral Mass is at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home.

A memorial fund has been set up to defray medical expenses. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The Joshua Maupin Memorial Fund, c/o Jennifer Maupin, Independence Bank, 925 Joe Clifton Drive, Paducah, KY 42001 or Independence Bank, 6040 Scottsville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42103.

Other survivors include two brothers, Jeremy and Tyler Maupin of Bowling Green; grandparents, David T. Maupin Sr. and Paulette Maupin of Bowling Green, James and Rosemary Langston of Paducah and Dee Kimbler of Paducah; his very own Angel Auntie Gwen Langston of Paducah; aunts, Jennifer Nichols of Cadiz, Tammy Webb of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Brenadette Vogt of Jeffersonville, Ind; and two uncles, Brent and Wes Kimbler of Mayfield.
