Lee Ford Johnson, 38, of Bowling Green died at 1:36 a.m. July 16, 2006, at his residence.

He was a son of Don and Marcia Meeks Johnson of Bowling Green, who survive. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Harry Ford; maternal grandmother, Billie Lee Meeks; paternal grandmother, Mae Rose Johnson; paternal grandfather, Buster Johnson; an aunt, Delores Rector; and an uncle, Jim Meeks.

Funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, with burial at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society, 1925 Old Louisville Road, Bowling Green, Ky. 42101.

Other survivors include two uncles, Roy Glenn Johnson and his wife, Linda, of Victoria, Texas, and Elston Rector of Bowling Green; four aunts, Betty Jones and her husband, Barney, of Glasgow, Jean Shaffer and her husband, Jerry, and Linda Glass and her husband, J.R., all of Bowling Green, and Emma Meeks of Hopkinsville; and several cousins.
