FRANKLIN – Steve Lamar Edwards, 45, of Franklin died at 1 p.m. July 3, 2006, at The Medical Center.
The Simpson County native was a former employee of Tyco Adhesive and a Navy veteran. He was a son of the late Harvey Lamar Edwards and Betty Sue Boyd Edwards of Franklin, who survives.
Funeral is at 11 a.m. Thursday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Simpson County Honor Guard. Visitation is in progress until 9 p.m. today and begins at 6 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Other survivors include three sons, Nathan and Jeremiah Edwards, both of Sumner County, Tenn., and Stevie Edwards of Missouri; three brothers, James and Chris Edwards, both of Franklin, and Le Roy Wright of Bedford; two sisters, Candy Blazar and Ramona Faulkner, both of Joplin, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
