Jim Johnson’s business has grown from a small Datsun partnership to a threebrand auto dealership employing approximately 55 people. In addition to his business success, Jim Johnson has unselfishly given to the community by donating his time and financial support.
He has been a member of the Salvation Army Advisory Board for 28 years and served as its board chairman for three years. Jim was co-chair of its Building Committee, which helped raise $1,500,000 to build the Center of Hope, a shelter and soup kitchen. He has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce, a supporter of the Bowling Green Chamber Orchestra and board member of the Commonwealth Health Foundation since it was founded. He has served as Honorary Chairperson of the March of Dimes and a presenting sponsor of the Southern Kentucky Book Fest, each for several years.
Additionally, Jim has been sponsor of the Warren County DARE program and served on the United Way Board and as Campaign Chair twice. It’s time Jim Johnson receive recognition for the many projects with which he has been involved.
