FRANKLIN – James William “Jimmy” Johnson, 62, of Franklin died Nov. 21, 2005, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
The Simpson County native was co-owner of Paradise Marine Inc., a member of Franklin First United Methodist Church, treasurer of the Sportsman Lake Fish & Game Club and a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association, Ducks Unlimited and Friends of Drakes Creek. He was a son of the late Joseph Lawrence Johnson and Anne Carter Johnson of Franklin, who survives, and the husband of the late Shaleen Cathryn Johnson.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and will begin at 6 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Other survivors include two sons, Daren Johnson of Bowling Green and Dean Johnson of Lobellville, Tenn.; two daughters, Selena House of Franklin and Darla Oglesby of Bowling Green; a brother, Joe Carter Johnson of Ashland; and five grandchildren, Stacy and Cory House and Marilyn, Veronica and Olivia Johnson.
