Austin Kirk

SCOTTSVILLE – Austin Kirk, 86, of Scottsville died at 12:20 p.m. Nov. 6, 2005, at a Glasgow nursing home.

The Monroe County native was a farmer and a member of Fountain Run Church of Christ. He was a son of the late Hugh and Millie Kirk.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home, with burial in Fountain Run Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include six sons, Quinten Kirk and his wife, Wendy, and George Kirk and his wife, Pan, all of Tompkinsville, Ernie Kirk and his wife, Frances, of Fountain Run, William Austin Kirk and his wife, Mabele, and Paul Kirk, all of Scottsville, and John Kirk and his wife, Donna, of Bowling Green; six daughters, Audrey Kirk and her companion, Howard Geralds, of Tompkinsville, Patricia Kirk of Bowling Green, Dinea Kinzer and her husband, Robert, of Lafayette, Ind., and Maureen Bradshaw, Mary Kirk and Rita Brodus and her husband, Fred, all of Scottsville; 24 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; a stepgrandchild; and a great-stepgrandchild.
