GLASGOW – Nina P. Ballard, 81, of Glasgow died Oct. 21, 2005 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green.
The Cumberland County native was a homemaker and a member of Locust Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Thomas and Martha Branham Vibbert. She was preceded in death by three children, Frank Henry Ballard, Fannie Lee and Freda Lou Ballard; and a brother, Jake Vibbert.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Hatcher and Sadler Funeral Home, with burial in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Martin Ballard; 11 children, Mattie Wilkerson, Johnny Ballard and his wife, Georgina, Brenda Vincent and her husband, Greg, all of Horse Cave, Teddy Ballard and his wife, Lou Ella, Richard Ballard and his wife, Sharon, Leonard Ballard and his wife, Genene, and Joe Ballard and his wife, Sherry, all of Glasgow, Amos Ballard and his wife, Meg, of Allen County, Martha Coomer and her husband, Danny, and Zeba Thomas of Cave City and Luke Ballard and his wife, Jennifer, of Lexington; five brothers, J.T. Vibbert and his wife, Joy, Ralph Vibbert and his wife, Susan, and Paul Vibbert and his wife, Helen, all of Glasgow, Ray Vibbert and his wife, Joyce, of Shelbyville and Melvin Vibbert and his wife, Dale, of Tennessee; a sister, Myrtle Morgan of Glasgow; 56 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
