Jonathan has initiated and implemented a Kentucky Authors Award, which recognizes Kentucky’s outstanding writers.
Besides working at the Kentucky Library at Western Kentucky University as Special Collections Librarian , he volunteers at Riverview at Hobson Grove, The Landmark Association, the Warren County Historical Society, the Bowling Green Historic Preservation Board, the Friends of the Bowling Green Public Library, etc. He provides support and consultation to people restoring old buildings and gives tours of historic places.
