Bob Kirby thinks Bowling Green and Warren County is a special place to live, and he spends countless hours giving back to the community. He has been active in numerous organizations and has served on the boards of many, including Kids on the Block, the Salvation Army, the Public Library, the United Way, and The Kentucky Museum and Library.
Recently he was instrumental in helping to raise funds for the branch library, which opened last year in Sugar Maple Square.
Currently he is co-chairman of the Salvation Army’s fund drive for their “Center of Hope.” To date almost $800,000 in donations has been raised toward this project.
Kirby gives of his time quietly with no interest in personal gain, always striving to make his hometown a better place.
