More than 700 pills were taken following a six-week investigation and three people were arrested, one of whom Loving is describing as a "major supplier of Dilaudid to Bowling Green and Warren County." Loving said around 2:30 p.m. Thursday, officers witnessed 48-year-old Ethan Reed selling Dilaudid to Ronni Mayhugh on Louisville Road. Mayhugh, 36, of Smiths Grove was later arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. A search of Reed's 1610 Plum Springs Road home yielded hundreds of Dilaudid pills, Xanex, hydrocodone and other pills, with a street value of at least $20,000, $2,600 in cash and numerous items of clothing that still had store security tags on them. Reed was charged with two counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and one count each of second- and third-degree trafficking. His wife, Marsha, 48, was charged with one count each of first-, second- and third-degree trafficking. Both Reeds are lodged in Warren County Regional Jail without bond. Mayhugh is in jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bond.
