SHELThe Shelbyville native was a sod contractor and member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Clarence Brown and Sara Carpenter Brown.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. July 16 at Hall-Taylor Funeral Home, with burial in Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Mount Vernon Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.

Survivors include a brother, Robin K. Brown of Bowling Green; and a niece and a nephew, Meghan and Jordan Brown of Bowling Green.
