Margo Beth Bates Ramsey, an earth mother, died at 4:50 p.m. June 24, 2005, at her residence.

The Fort Belvoir, Va., native was a graduate of Western Kentucky University and was an employee of the university. She was a daughter of Don Bates of Cincinnati and Caroline Bates of Lexington, who survive, and the wife of the late Steven Ramsey.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ceceila Memorial PresOther survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Shea Robinson and Deanna Hewitt and her husband, Shannon, all of Bowling Green; three sons, Daniel Caleb Robinson and Michael and Mitchell Ramsey, all of Bowling Green; three sisters, Marcia Lehner and her husband, Jim, of Lakeland, Fla., Beth Bates of Lexington and Dawn Small of Napa, Calif.; a granddaughter, Zoie Hewitt of Bowling Green; and a grandmother, Thelma Bates of Bridgeport, W.
