Jessica M. Matlock, 17, of Bowling Green died June 20, 2005, at the 2500 block of Browning Road as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
The Dayton, Tenn., native was a student at Warren Central High School, played girls basketball and softball at WCHS, and was very active in sports. She was a daughter of Ben Allan Matlock and Brenda Towe Matlock of Bowling Green, who survive. She was preceded in death Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hillvue Heights Church, where she was a member, with burial in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, and will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Other survivors include a brother, Chris Matlock of Bowling Green; paternal grandfather, Robert E. Hunton of Bowling Green; a maternal grandmother, Evelyn Towe of Bowling Green; three aunts, Robin L. Hunton and Anita Lewis, both of Bowling Green, and Vickie Duke of Alvaton; two uncles, David Towe of Bowling Green and Steve Towe of Nashville; and several cousins.
