James Robert Fox, 59, of Bowling Green died at 4:30 a.m. April 24, 2005, at his home.

The Knox County, Tenn., native was a self-employed dairy farmer, a Vietnam War Navy veteran, a 1978 graduate of Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tenn., a member of Loy Memorial United Methodist Church in New Market, Tenn., and loved sports, hunting and outdoor activities. He was a son of the late James Swann Fox and RuGraveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Fox Family Farm Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Southern Kentucky, 1027 Broadway Ave., Bowling Green, KY 42104.

Other survivors include his wife, Debbie Hallen Fox; two sons, John Robert Fox and his wife, Kelly, and Taylor Fox, all of Bowling Green; a daughter, Lisa Fox Roberts and her husband, Mark, of Alvaton; a sister, Karen Elaine Whitt and her husband, Jon, of Talbott, Tenn.; and three grandchildren, Scott Patton Roberts, Kennedy Ruth Roberts and Roy Louis Fox.
