Pair booked on meth charges

Methamphetamine ingredients were found inside a Buick stopped Wednesday afternoon The traffic stop came after extensive surveillance and investigative work at a home on Industrial Drive, according to a KSP report.

Two containers of anhydrous ammonia were among the contents of the vehicle. The driver, 26-year-old Christopher L. Tinsley, was wanted by Kentucky Probation and Parole.

He was charged with knowingly possessing anhydrous ammonia with intent to manufacture methamphetamine, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and no operators license.

A passenger, Tisha M. Combs, 21, was also charged with knowingly possessing anhydrous ammonia with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine. She is in Warren County Regional Jail on $10,000 cash bond.

Tinsley is in jail on $51,000 cash bond.

Arrest A man wanted in Clarkson for an alleged assault on a 54-year-old woman Friday was arrested by state police on Wednesday.

Charles D. Heaverin, 51, of Clarkson was driving a stolen truck, according to a KSP report, and police found the vehicle near a home on Oriole Street in Bowling Green.

They found Heaverin in the area and he is awaiting transfer in Warren County Regional Jail.

Arrest Jose Luis Garcia, 53, and Collita Grinter, 48, both of Russellville, were arrested on drug charges at their home Wednesday when detectives from the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force, responding to anonymous tips, searched the home.

There, police say, they found prescription drugs that had been shaved into powder and also a small amount of marijuana.

The two were charged with possession of prescription drugs not in a proper container and possession of marijuana. They were both cited to court.
