SCOTTSVILLE John Elmer Jameson, 94, of Scottsville died at 4:30 a.m. Jan. 4, 2005, in Scottsville.

The Allen County native was a retired millwright and farmer, a member of Bethel Baptist Church and a former member of Cedar Cross Church for 65 years. He was a son of the late John R. Jameson and Emma Frances Hogue Jameson and the husband of the late Mildred Ellen Jameson.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at T.W. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation is in progress today at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Swift Jameson; three daughters, Frances Richey of Scottsville and Inez Hudson and Ruth Stotts, both of Bowling Green; four sons, John and Glen Jameson, both of Scottsville, James Jameson of Clarksville, Ind., and Hascal Neighbors of Indianapolis; two sisters, Margaret Stovall of Scottsville and Evelyn Purcell of Hardinsburg; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
