LEWISBURG Damon Scott Thompson, 18, of Lewisburg died at 3:20 p.m. Sept. 10, 2004, at the intersection of Ky. 79 and Ky. 68-80 as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

The Bowling Green native was a student a Logan County High School. He was a son of the late Christina Thompson.

Funeral was today at Price Funeral Home, with burial in Wileys Chapel Cemetery in Lewisburg.

Other survivors include an adopted mother, Elisa Thompson; a sister, Tammy Elizabeth Belt of Douglasville, Ga.; and three brothers, Michael Ray Thompson of Moumee, Ohio, Scott Thompson of Clifty and Shaun Ryan Thompson Burdon of Morgantown.

Vera Tinsley

FRANKLIN Vera Tinsley, 76, of Franklin died Sept. 10, 2004, at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.

The Allen County native was a daughter of the late Louis Victory and Fennie Ross Victory and the wife of the late Levie E. Tinsley.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Crafton Funeral Home, with burial in Mount Vernon Cemetery.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary Leach of Scottsville and Shirley Tinsley Slack and Brenda Pendleton, both of Franklin; a brother, Walter Victory of Bowling Green; two sisters, Artha Witcher and Emmar Pearl Victory, both of Scottsville; and several nieces and nephews.
