RUSSELLVILLE Helen Grubbs Moberly, 84, died Aug. 29, 2004, at her home.

The Casey County native attended Post Oak Baptist Church. She was a volunteer for the Logan County Hospital Auxiliary and a member of the Logan County Homemakers. She was a daughter of the late Eli Vixon Grubbs and Beatrice Smiley Grubbs and the wife of the late Austin Moberly.
Funeral will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at Whippoorwill Baptist Church in Schochoh, where she was a member, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at Memorial Funeral Home and after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Southern Kentucky Hospice.
Survivors include six sons, Danny Moberly and his wife, Carol, of Elkton, Tim Moberly and his wife, Patsy, and Benny Moberly and his wife, Andrea, all of Russellville, Sam Moberly and his wife, Pam, and Smiley Moberly and his wife, Karen, all of Schochoh, and Barry Moberly and his wife, Jeannie, of Chandlers Chapel; two daughters, Patty Martin and her husband, Jackie, and Peggy Vincent and her husband, Chester, all of Chandlers Chapel; two brothers, Herbert Grubbs and his wife, Margaret, of Lancaster and Sam Grubbs and his wife, Nancy, of Cincinnati; a sister, Nora Thompson of Redland, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and nine great-stepgrandchildren.
