Restaurant inspections for July 20-29, according to Barren River District Health Department, are as follows:

Bobs Smokehouse, 9279 Russellville Road, follow-up required because spray bottle was labeled incorrectly; and the gas valve supply line was open to outside; score 76.

La Petite Academy, 1101 Wilkinson Trace, follow-up required because Quanstat spray bottle was not labeled; score 94. Passed immediate follow-up inspection; score 99.

Kiddie Korner ECE Center, 913 E. 10th St., passed; score 100.

Cue Time, 523 Three Springs Road, passed; score 98.

Jr. Foods, 5281 Scottsville Road, passed; score 100.

Stockyard Cafe, 600 Clay St., passed; score 97.

Jr. Food Store, 508 Gordon Ave., passed; score 97.

Great American Donut Shop, 901 U.S. 31-W GM Corvette Cafeteria, 600 Corvette Drive, passed; score 99.

Kristies Kitchen, 708 Morgantown Road, passed; score 84.

Drury Inn, 3250 Scottsville Road, passed; score 98.

Jaycee Pavilion, Lampkin Park, passed; score 96.

Scot Market, 2258 U.S. 68-Ky. 80, passed; score 96.

Jr. Foods, 3380 Louisville Road, passed; score 95.

Bob Evans Farms Inc., 145 Three Springs Road, follow-up required because the milk dispenser nozzle was too long; butter and half and half was at improper temperature; there was an inadequate level of sanitizer in wiping cloth buckets; utensil containers and some contents were not clean or sanitized; and ladles were hanging on the rack; score 82.

Burger King, 3020 Scottsville Road, follow-up required because there was a toxic level of quaternary ammonia in spray bottle labeled sanitizer; countertop holding the register and drink dispenser unit was not clean or sanitized in area where drink lids were stored with their food contact surfaces touching the counter; cooked onions were not at proper temperature; chili was not at proper temperature; and there was no sanitizer in the wiping cloth solution in cooking area; score 74.

Restaurants are inspected at least once every six months by Barren River District Health Department inspectors who use a 44-item checklist to evaluate a restaurants cleanliness, food handling and storage.

Follow-up inspections are done, if needed.

A restaurant has 10 days to correct its problem if it scores below an 85 or is cited for a critical violation.
