GREENVILLE Frankie Whitaker, 83, of Greenville died July 21, 2004, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital.

The Logan County native was a retired farmer. He was a son of the late William Henry Whitaker and Laura Williams Whitaker and the husband of the late Elta Williams Whitaker.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bards Hill Church, where he was a member, with burial in Yeargins Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at Garys Funeral Home.
