Osbay Buddy Shirley, 84, of Bowling Green died at 6 p.m. July 11, 2004, at his home.

The Warren County native was a factory worker for Holley Carburetor for 20 years. After retiring from Holley, he enjoyed fishing and watching the Chicago Cubs. Before working at Holley, he managed a Spur Station. He was a son of the late Wiley Jefferson Shirley and Martha Lou Minnis Shirley and the husband of the late Jewell Bray Shirley.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at J.C. KirSurvivors include his wife, Jewell Bray Shirley; a daughter, JoNell Howard and her husband, J.C., of Bowling Green; two sisters, Ruth Bokori and Pearl Hearld, both of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Kim Hoover and her husband, Jay, and Katrina Howard, both of Nashville, and Jamie Howard of Bowling Green; great-grandchildren, Kristin, Briana and Erin Hoover and Zachary and Michael Howard; and several nieces and nephews.
