Jackson is pastor. Christ Episcopal Church youth are having a 30-hour famine during which they will walk about 10 miles. The group has assembled a paper prayer chain of 29,000 links (symbolizing the steps equal to about 10 miles) that they will display at Fountain Square Park between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday. The links will be sold for $1 each to raise money for world hunger relief. The fast begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and ends with Communion on Sunday. Seventh Street Baptist Church will observe Black History Month through a portrayal of the play Who Killed the Holy Spirit at 3 p.m. Sunday. The play was written by former member Mike Willis.
