FRANKLIN Evan O. Rich, 79, of Woodburn, died Feb. 7, 2004, at The Medical Center of Franklin.The Allen County native was a World War II Army veteran, a retired farmer, a lifetime member of American Legion Post 62 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5706. He was son of the late Clem and Mamie Dunn Rich and husband of the late Nevon Turner Rich. He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Rich, a brother, Joe Rich, and sister, Eura Lannon.Funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday at Crafton Funeral Home, with burial in Sulphur Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and after 6 a.m. Monday. Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Traughber of Nashville, and June Dillon of Woodburn; two sons, Roger Rich of Woodburn and Michael Rich of Franklin; a sister, Helen Rich of Auburn; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
