Carolyn Barton Swanson, 52, of Nebo, formerly of Bowling Green, died Jan. 27, 2004, at St. Mary Rehab Center in Evansville.The Bowling Green native was a graduate of Bowling Green High School, where she was active in DECA, attended Western Kentucky University and University of Louisville, was a car salesman at Saturn of Evansville and previously worked at Ridley Buick in Henderson and Leachman Buick-GMC in Bowling Green. She previously worked for Discount Carpet in Bowling Green and owned and operated Kitchen & Concepts in Madisonville. She was a daughter of the late Finis Milton Barton and Pauline Emily Hoch Barton of Bowling Green, who survives.Funeral will be at 7 p.m. tonight at Bailey-Turner-Winkenhofers Heritage Funeral Chapel, with burial at 10 a.m. Friday at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.Other survivors include her fianc, Barry Knight of Nebo; a sister, Cindy McGaughey of Bowling Green; a brother, Jack Barton of Bensalem, Pa.; two nephews, Sean McGaughey of Bowling Green and Eric Barton of Bensalem; and four nieces, Emileigh McGaughey of Bowling Green and Jaclyn, Alyssa and Shelley Barton, all of Bensalem.
