MUNFORDVILLE William Boots Dice, 80, of Hardyville died at 4:25 a.m. Jan. 8, 2004, at a Bowling Green nursing home.The Hardyville native was a farmer and was retired from the Kentucky Department of Highways. He was a son of the late Harrison Dice and Ollie Fields Dice. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Dice; and five sisters, Murl Massey, Lovie Bradley, Kathleen Green, Essie Rice and Hattie Edwards.Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Seminary Baptist Church, where he was a member, deacon and treasurer of the brotherhood, with burial in Allen Seminary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and will begin at 9 a.m. Monday at Hawkins-Brooks Funeral Home.Survivors include his wife, Mary Lillie Mundy Dice; five sons, the Rev. William L. Dice and wife, Margie, Bishop Allen Lane Dice and wife, Elder Dora, and Mark Dice, all of Horse Cave, retired Master Staff Sergeant John Henry Dice of Tacoma, Wash., and David H. Dice and wife, Mary, of Benson, N.C.; three daughters, Beverly Jean Graham and Virginia Lewis and husband, Kenneth, all of Bowling Green, and Anita Pearson and husband, Samuel, of Munfordville; a sister, Frances Rice of Horse Cave; a son-in-law, Sherman Graham of Bowling Green; 44 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends of the family.
