BEECHMONT Jewell Newman Hunt, 74, of Beech Creek died at 4:04 a.m. Dec. 31, 2003, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.The Muhlenberg County native was employed at Special Mining Service in Greenville.Funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Tucker Funeral Home, with burial in Mud River Union Cemetery in Belton. Survivors include his wife, Betty Cartwright Hunt; three sons, Terry Hunt of Bowling Green, Dale Hunt of Drakesboro and Ricky Hunt of Powderly; a daughter, Tammy Hunt of Browder; four grandchildren; a brother, Bobby Hunt of Beechmont; and a sister, Margie Nell Vance of Illinois.
