OSAWATOMIE, Kan. Herbert Milton Hogue, 64, of Osawatomie died Dec. 30, 2003, at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe.The Allen County, Ky., native was an Air Force veteran, a former employee of the Franklin County Sheriffs Department in Ottawa, Johnson County Sheriffs Department in Olathe and Miami County Sheriffs Department and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Osawatomie, the Masonic Lodge, Kansas Peace Officers Association and the American Legion. He was a son of the late Hubert Pace Hogue and Bertha Lee Smalling Hogue. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald and Paul Hogue; and a nephew, William C. Hogue.Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home with military honors.Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann Hogue; six children; two brothers, Noble Hogue of Bowling Green, Ky., and Alvin Hogue of Scottsville, Ky.; and several grandchildren.
