Kenneth Crocker, D.V.M., of Scottsville died at 6:15 a.m. Sept. 12, 2003, at his home.The Columbia Station, Ohio, native was founder of Simpson County Animal Hospital, practiced veterinary medicine for 50 years, was a member of Scottsville Rotary Club, Franklin Rotary Club, First Baptist Church and Franklin Arts Council, was a World War II Army veteran, president of Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association and chairman of the board of Franklin Swimming Pool. He was a son of the late Orra Crocker and Lorena Zacharias Crocker.Memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Franklin Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, is in charge of arrangements.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to American Cancer Society.Survivors include his wife, Helen Bartter Crocker; six sons, Ben Crocker and his wife, Cyndi, and Scott Crocker and his wife, Tricia, all of Bowling Green, Kelly Crocker and his wife, Lina, of Lexington, Steve Crocker and his wife, Heidi, of St. Louis and Tim Crocker and his wife, Janet, and Dan Crocker and his wife, Roni, all of Franklin; three brothers, Nelson Crocker of Stafford, Va., and Glenn Crocker of Fort Myers, Fla., and Hal Crocker of Columbus, Ohio; and 14 grandchildren.
