SCOTTSVILLE Clyde E. Farris, 91, of Bowling Green died at 6:20 p.m. May 24, 2003, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.The Barren County native was a former Scottsville businessman, a member and deacon of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, a member of Bowling Green Lodge No. 73 F&AM and Park City Chapter No. 128 Order of Eastern Star and a former member of Graham Lodge No. 208 F&AM. He was a son of the late Jimmie Lee Farris and Trannie Turner Farris and husband of the late Ruby Lee Gillenwater Farris.Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Bowling Green. Visitation will begin after 4 .m. today at Goad Funeral Home with Masonic rites at 7 p.m. today.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Faith Missionary Baptist Church. Donations may be made at the funeral home.Survivors include a daughter, Frances Williams and husband, Cletus, of Bowling Green; a brother, William Lee Farris of Scottsville; two grandsons, Rick Williams and wife, Deborah, and Ron Williams and wife, Sandy, all of Bowling Green; four great-grandchildren, Casey and Kristen Williams and Bethany and Amanda Williams, all of Bowling Green; and several nieces and nephews.
