Omar Lee Marklin Sr., 70, of Bowling Green died at 1:38 p.m. May 13, 2003, at The Medical Center.The Manchester, Tenn., native was a refrigerated maintenance employee for R.C. Cola Bottling Company and a member of Victory Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Leslie Marklin and Ruby Rust Marklin. He was preceded in death by a son, Omar L. Marklin Jr.Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, with burial in Old Drake Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.Survivors include his wife, Mildred Louise Hudspeth Marklin; two sons, David Marklin and wife, Joyce Fay, and Steve Marklin and wife, Susan Elaine, all of Bowling Green; a daughter, Sara Willis of Waldo, Fla.; a brother, Bruce Marklin of Elkton; a sister, Linda Haley of Elkton; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
