Wallace E. Price, 72, of Bowling Green died at 1:25 p.m. March 24, 2003, at a local nursing home.The Warren County native was a graduate of South Warren High School and Western Kentucky University, with a degree in agriculture; he was retired from Barren River Health Department as an environmentalist, a veterinarian technician for Smiths Grove Veterinary Clinic, a technician for Kentucky Artificial Breeders Association and a Korean War veteran. He was the son of the late W.R. Price and the late Jimmie Belle Stanley.Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Eastwood Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel.Survivors include his wife, Alma Jean Self Price; a son, Brent Price and wife, Jill, of Bowling Green; a daughter, Nancy Price Law and husband, Brent, of Marietta, Ga.; a granddaughter, Emily Law; three grandsons, Tyler Law, Jonathan Price and Jordan Price; three brothers, John Price of Franklin and Bill Price and Terry Price both of Bowling Green; four sisters, Mary Gott of Corpus Christi, Texas, Matilda Rankin of Monticello, Willie Zee Stewart of Elizabethtown and Betty Jane Proctor of Bowling Green; and several nieces and nephews.
