RUSSELLVILLE Vera Moss Gilliam, 103, of Russellville, died Oct. 9, 2003, in Logan Memorial Hospital.The Ballard County native was a member of United Methodist Temple in Russellville and an active member of United Methodist Women. She was a daughter of the late Louis Henry Moss and Arnice Alberta Simmons Moss and wife of the late J.H. Gilliam.Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to United Methodist Temple.Survivors include two sons, Paul Gilliam of Greenbrier, Tenn., and Ralph Gilliam of Union City, Tenn.; two daughters, Mary Jo Dew and Dorothy Riley, both of Russellville; a sister, Ruth Werner of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
