LAWRENCEBURG Samuel Fount Crow Jr., 80, of Lawrenceburg died July 25, 2002, at his home.He was a retired engineer with the Kentucky Department of Highways, an Army lieutenant during World War II and was a member of Bowling Green Masonic Lodge 73. He was the husband of the late Josephine Fay Fancher Crow.Memorial service was Aug. 24 at the home of Ava Crow and Anne Flynn in Lawrenceburg. Ritchie-Peach-Todd Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Bowling Green Masonic Lodge 73, 3026 Smallhouse Road, Bowling Green, KY 42104 or Anderson County Animal Shelter, Tyronne Road, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.Survivors include two sons, Samuel Fount Crow III of Denver and Michael Dean Crow of New Castle; a daughter, Ava Charlene Crow of Lawrenceburg; two brothers, Wayne Crow of Lexington and Willard Crow of Sulpher, La.; a sister, Sarah Troutman of Owensboro; two stepbrothers, Warren Hines of Destin Beach, Fla., and Jimmy Hines of Bowling Green; and a granddaughter.
