Shelva Howell Reese, 65, of Bowling Green died Aug. 25, 2002, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.The Warren County native was a homemaker, a member of the Christian Life Center and a graduate of Bristow High School. She was a daughter of the late Leslie Howell and Mamie Boyd Howell.Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery No. 2. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.Survivors include her husband, Billy Reese; a son, Timothy Reese of Morgantown; three daughters, Belinda Ingram of Morgantown and Sonya Hix and Shannon Yoakem, both of Bowling Green; two sisters, Ernestine Reavis of Nashville and Lena Mae Kessinger of Bowling Green; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
