Fannie Mae Lashley Simon, 84, of Bowling Green died at 12:20 a.m. July 14, 2002, at a Bowling Green nursing home.The Edmonson County native was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Alter Society and Oakland Homemakers. She was a daughter of the late Porter E. Lashley and Beulah Lindsey Lashley and the wife of the late Phillip Harold Simon.Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was a member, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green chapel. Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.Survivors include a daughter, Patty Simon Wimsatt of Oakland; two sons, James Phillip Simon and Donald Joseph Simon, both of Bowling Green; seven sisters, Ruth Hancock, Betsy Schureck, Jenny Wicke, Mildred Maseur and Martine Bean, all of Louisville, Ilean Hawkins of Cincinnati and Beulah Mills of Radcliff; a brother, Charles Thomas Lashley of Leitchfield; and seven grandchildren.
