Jerry Lee Moore Sr., 74, of Bowling Green died at 2:48 p.m. July 11, 2002, at The Medical Center.The Paducah native was a retired certified public accountant, an attorney and partner in the law firm of Bell, Orr, Ayers and Moore, a member of The Presbyterian Church, where he was a deacon and elder, past president of the Jaycees, a Little League coach, a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, a charter member of Indian Hills Country Club, a graduate of Bowling Green College of Commerce and Vanderbilt School of Law and a World War II Navy veteran. He was a son of the late Robert Moore and Robbie Tatum Moore and the husband of the late Suzanne Stevens Moore. He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Lee Moore Jr.Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The Presbyterian Church or Jerry L. Moore Sr. Scholarship Fund, College Heights Foundation, Western Kentucky University.Survivors include his wife, Nancy Chesnut Moore; four sons, Steve Moore, Mike Moore, Tom Moore and Pat Moore, all of Bowling Green; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
