GARY, Ind. Elise Grannelle Gossom Stanley, 77, of Gary died May 15, 2002, at her home.The Bowling Green, Ky., native was a retired employee of Sears, Roebuck & Co. and served on the Nora F. Taylor Missionary Society and Stewardess Board. She was the daughter of the late Willie E. Gossom and wife of the late Leroy M. Stanley Sr.Funeral will be at 2 p.m. ET Tuesday at First A.M.E. Church, where she was a member, with burial in Evergreen Memorial Park. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. ET Monday, with family visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Guy & Allen Funeral Directors.Survivors include a daughter, Maryl Joyner; a son, Leroy M. Stanley Jr.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
