Robert Karl Lightfoot, 78, of Bowling Green died at 7:30 a.m. Feb. 27, 2002, at his home.The Warren County native worked in the engineering department at Warren Rural Electric Co-op, was a member of First Christian Church, Bowling Green Masonic Lodge F & AM, was an Air Force veteran, serving in China with the 14th Air Force Flying Tigers, and was a charter member of the Southern Kentucky Region Antique Auto Club of America. He was a son of the late Robert E. Lightfoot and Eva M. Wingfield Lightfoot.Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Masonic service will be from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral homeSurvivors include his wife, Ida Woodward Lightfoot; two sons, Joe Lightfoot of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Robert K. Lightfoot Jr. of Smiths Grove; a daughter, Sandra Lightfoot of Nashville, Tenn.; a sister, Phyllis Kennedy of Franklin; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
