Ruth Johnson Meredith, 92, of Bowling Green died at 1:50 p.m. Feb. 7, 2002, at Nortons Hospital Southwest in Louisville.The Monroe County native was a retired teacher for the Bowling Green City School System, taught at McNeil Elementary School, was a recipient of the Elementary Life Certificate, a graduate of Western Kentucky University, an accomplished weaver, a licensed practical nurse for the Red Cross and a member of First Baptist Church of Bowling Green. She was a daughter of the late Yancy Lycurgis and Lou Titia Patterson Lycurgis.Funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery.
