Marine Corps Pfc. Johnathan D. Graves, the son of Teresa D. and Jason C. Graves of Franklin, completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C., and was promoted to his current rank. Graves is a 2002 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School. Jamie McDonald and Sarah Miller, both of Woodburn, and Paige Kirby of Alvaton attended the National FFA Convention Oct. 30-Nov. 1 in Louisville. All are members of the Greenwood FFA chapter.
