Rosy Murrell, 98, of Louisville died at 10:40 a.m. Jan. 28, 2002, at Parkway Medical Center in Louisville.The Barren County native was a homemaker and a caregiver for the elderly. She was a daughter of the late Jim Cole and Malissa Edwards Cole and the wife of the late Harold Thomas Murrell. She was preceded in death by two daughters and three sons, Wayne Murrell, Lemule Murrell and Neal Murrell.Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Mount Olla Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in Mount Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green chapel.Survivors include two sons, the Rev. Hulen Lee Murrell and Wallace Reed Murrell, both of Louisville; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
