Herbert Wayne Rollins, 79, of Bowling Green died at 5:25 a.m. EST Jan. 20, 2002, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville.The Kokomo, Ind., native was an accountant for Leo Eggleton Accounting, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of Broadway United Methodist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a son of the late Norman Rollins and Nellie Fouch Rollins.Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, with burial in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society, 2425 Scottsville Road, Bowling Green, Ky. 42104-4457.Survivors include his wife, Doris M. Rollins; two sons, Norman D. Rollins of Nashville, Tenn., and Craig A. Rollins of Nacogdoches, Texas; a daughter, Linda R. Kitchens of Bowling Green; a sister, Norma Williams of Carmel, Ind.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
