BOAZ, Ala. Beckham Martin III, 54, of Boaz died Jan. 7, 2002, in Boaz.The Bowling Green, Ky., native was a businessman and owner of Martins Mens Wear in Boaz. He was a son of the late Beckham Martin Jr. and Frankie Rector Martin, who survives.Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Second Baptist Church in Boaz, where he was a member, with burial in Boaz. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Rowan McRae Funeral Home and will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green chapel, is in charge of local arrangements.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Second Baptist Church Youth Fund, 307 McVille St., Boaz, Ala. 35957.Other survivors include his wife, Sharon Kloeb Martin; two stepsons, Robbie Schomberg and Frankie Schomberg, both of Gadsden, Ala.; a stepdaughter, Laurie Koehler of Birmingham, Ala.; two sisters, Chrystalee Martin Lovell of Greenville, Ky., and Laura Martin Johns of Bowling Green; four stepgrandchildren; and two nephews.
