SCOTTSVILLE Lester Cooksey, 86, of Scottsville died Sept. 11, 2001, at The Medical Center.The Allen County native was a retired welder with Whayne Supply in Bowling Green, a World War II Army veteran and a member of Scottsville Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Noah Cooksey and Elizabeth Willoughby Cooksey.Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at T.W. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.Survivors include his wife, Clarice Gross Cooksey; two sons, Michael Cooksey and Larry Cooksey, both of Scottsville; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
