The Bowling Green father of a 25-year-old Glasgow woman is living a parents worst nightmare today. Phillip W. Flowers of Bowling Green was planning to travel to Glasgow today to complete funeral arrangements for his daughter, Stacy Flowers Dodson, the victim of an apparent homicide. The body of Dodson a single mother was found shot Monday at Iroquois Park in Louisville; early today Louisville police arrested the man they claim is responsible for her murder. I thank them for the work that they did, and as quick as they did it, Flowers said. She was a good kid and a good mom. Louisville police charged Michael Anthony Holloway, who also uses the name Michael A. Lockhart, 23, with murder, kidnapping, robbery and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon at 4 a.m. today at his home, according to Louisville police Capt. Steve Thompson. I hope through due process he burns in the electric chair, Flowers said. Holloway is accused of luring Dodson from her Glasgow home to visit him in Louisville this past weekend with the intention of a romantic encounter, Thompson said. Holloway is accused of forcing Dodson at gunpoint into her car which was driven to the park, a large, hilly and wooded area in Louisvilles south side, and then shooting her once in the head. Holloway is expected to be arraigned today. Dodson was divorced and lived as a single mother raising a daughter. She had experience meeting people through the use of the Internet, Thompson said. Investigators seized a personal computer from Dodsons Glasgow home and were tracking the correspondence between her and Holloway. Police found a .38-caliber revolver in Holloways possession, which is believed to be the murder weapon, Thompson said. Daily News reporter Michael Compton and The Associated Press contributed to this report.
