Howard Woods, 71, of Park City died at 12:55 a.m. May 10, 2001, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.The Barren County native was a retired logger and farmer and a member of Shiloh General Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Roy Woods and Eula Lawrence Woods.Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove chapel.Survivors include his wife, Eula Mae Francis Woods; seven daughters, Enita Allen of Park City, Debbie Durrett of Summerville, Bernice Manness of Glasgow, Janice Johnson and Betty Johnson, both of Brownsville, Joann Douglas of Smiths Grove and Marilyn Thompson of Hiseville; a son, Mike Woods of Smiths Grove; two brothers, Harlan Woods and Joseph Woods, both of Smiths Grove; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
