SCOTTSVILLE Dewey Creasy, 83, of Fountain Run died at 7:45 p.m. April 14, 2001, at his home.The Sumner County, Tenn., native was a farmer. He was a son of the late Virgil Creasy and Cora Bell Caldwell Creasy.Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Combs Lane United Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Combs Lane Cemetery. Visitation is in progress Monday at Goad Funeral Home and will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church.Survivors include his wife, Dassie Graves Creasy; a son, Kenneth A. Creasy of Plainfield, Ind.; a stepson, Darse Lee Smith of Scottsville; a stepdaughter, Mary Ann Woods of Fountain Run; three sisters, Dolly Gibbs of Tipton, Ind., Vera Gibbs of Castleberry, Fla., and Mary Lyles of Hendersonville, Tenn.; three grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-stepgrandchildren; and a great-great-stepgrandchild.
