GLASGOW Randall J. Coomer, 45, of Cave City died March 4, 2001, at his home.The Glasgow native was a self-employed dairy farmer, a 1973 graduate of Hiseville High School, a 4-H and Future Farmers of America volunteer and a member of National Holstein Association. He was a son of Cortez Coomer and Olene Smith Coomer of Cave City, who survive.Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Basil Chapel United Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Monday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to American Cancer Society, c/o Nancy Richardson, 222 Shelly Drive, Glasgow, Ky. 42141 or Hospice of Southern Kentucky, 1027 Broadway Ave., Bowling Green, Ky. 42104.Other survivors include his wife, Rita Lockhart Coomer, two daughters, Amanda Jo Fisher of Glasgow and Laura Nichole Coomer of Cave City; three sons, Kevin Houchens of Summer Shade, Nathan Houchens of Scottsville and Dewayne Marr of Smiths Grove; and four grandchildren.
